What a great find. My friend and I ordered two different dishes-fish & chips, fishcake & chips. We were able to choose from 4-5 sauces, and ended up getting the gravy and curry (the curry sauce complements the meal so well). The fish was perfectly fried, and wasn't greasy or dripping with oil. They gave us a generous amount of chips, which were the right amount of crispy. Do I dare say this was the best fish & chips joint I've ever been to?

We had two haddock and chips and a calamari and chips.  The haddock and the chips were very fresh and  a lovely batter on the fish.  These were fixed exactly right.  The calamari tasted like it was frozen and with a fair quality commercial breading.  Thumbs up o  the fish and down on the calamari.  The mushy peas were very good as well.

Not gonna lie, it says it's good here but the service was very bland and boring...no enthusiasm at all...time to receive food was slow. The taste was okay, no more than a standard chippy! Price was also quite extortionate. That is all.

Fish and chip eating is a popular pastime in Seahouses and there are several chippies to choose from. I chose Pinnacles for two reasons; firstly it was recommended by the Hairy Bikers on their trip up here a few years ago and secondly the Qype reviews seemed to slightly favour it over its main rival 'The Neptune' across the road :-) I must admit I thought they were excellent fish and chips - crispy battered haddock and equally crispy chips. I sometimes think that the thought of fish and chips is better than the actual experience but in this case they lived up to my expectations. Great fish and chips - buy some and sit and eat them by the harbour, you can't beat it! :-)

Having read the reviews before getting to seahouses we decided this was the place to have fish & chips by the sea. We ate in & found it very clean & an efficient service. The fish, chips & mushy peas where very tasty & nice setting to eat in, rather than outside in the street. Would return & recommend. No wifi or phone signal so couldn't check in
